This video is of a Godaddy.com commercial with Danica Patrick. These commercials are always controversial and usually air for the first time during the Super Bowl. If you view all of their commercials they never give any information about their company. It is always just provocative videos of women and at the end they usually suggest that you go to godaddy.com to view the rest of the video. Obviously these commercials are marketed more toward men, but they do spark interest in the viewer. Even though I find them kind of ridiculous (as I’m sure all women do of something like this) it does make you want to visit the website to see what it is all about. It turns out Go Daddy is a company where you can buy a domain name for a website. So…it leaves me wondering…good marketing tactic? or tacky false advertisement?
